(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) -On December 28, 2013 at approximately 2:02 a.m., officers from the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Festive R.I.D.E. team were conducting a R.I.D.E. Program on Highway 7 and Woolwich-Guelph Townline, Guelph-Eramosa Township. A male driver of a 2007 Chrysler entered the check point and showed signs of alcohol consumption. A roadside screening device test was administered which resulted in a fail.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Neil VAN BRAAK age 26 of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 24, 2014 to answer to the charge.
