OPP CHARGE SUSPENDED DRIVER

(Lansdowne,ON.) On the 28th of December 2013 Ontario Provincial Police were on patrol on Hwy 401 in the Township of Front of Yonge.

At around 1:00 p.m. Hwy 401 eastbound around mile marker 675 was shut down due to a collision.

An O.P.P. officer that was on patrol observed a grey Pontiac Grand Am travelling in the open lane passing stationary vehicles, the car then attempted to cut into line in front of other vehicles.

The officer stopped the vehicle to investigate the manner the car was being driven.

The driver, Wayne SAUVE, 51 years old of Belleville ON, was subsequently charged with driving while under suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.

He is to appear in Brockville Court on January 29th 2014.
