(WHITESTONE TWP, ON) – On December 29, 2013 at approximately 11:11 p.m. the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a 2 vehicle motor vehicle collision on Bunny Trail in Whitestone Township.
A vehicle was parked on the right side of Bunny Trail containing 2 occupants. A second vehicle drove up beside the parked vehicle and asked the driver if they required any assistance. A third vehicle came over the hill, slid on the ice covered road and hit the second vehicle from behind.
The driver of the first vehicle, Robert ORMISTON, 23 years of age from Parry Sound, was charged with Interfere with traffic and Drive Motor Vehicle No Licence, both contrary to the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
The driver of the second vehicle, Rebecca ROWLANDE, 34 years of age from Seguin Twp, was charged with Drive Motor Vehicle No Licence, contrary to the HTA.
No injuries resulted from the collision.
