(THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a male motorist with a drinking and driving offence as a result of a vehicle stop.
On the 1st of January 2014 at 3:00am officers doing dedicated patrols in the Blue Mountain Resort area conducted a vehicle stop in the parking lot near the Grand Georgian. Upon speaking to the driver it was found that he was under the influence of alcohol however police were unable to obtain a sample of his breath. As such he was arrested and transported to Collingwood detachment for processing.
Charged is 21 year-old Maximilian MUELLER-WORMS of Toronto, he is facing a charge of fail or refuse to provide sample and is to appear in Owen Sound court on the 23rd of January 2014.
