(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were kept very busy on the first day of 2014 between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. responding to seven motor vehicle collisions along Highway 401 and on Highway 40. Minor injuries were reported.
These collisions are preventable. Drivers are reminded to slow down and leave lots of space between you and other vehicles. Adjust your speed to match the road conditions.
