(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) -On January 2, 2014 at approximately 11:43 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Festive R.I.D.E. team conducted a R.I.D.E. Program on Wellington County Road 46 and Wellington County Road 34, Puslinch Township. The male driver of a 2009 Subaru was spoken with and he showed signs of alcohol consumption. A roadside screening device test was administered which resulted in a fail.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Martin PEDERSEN age 35 of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 31, 2014 to answer to the charge.
