(LEAMINGTON, ON) -On December 28, 2013 at approximately 10:15 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers in Leamington stopped a blue Honda on Erie Street North near Ivan Street in Leamington, for travelling under the posted limit.
Officers spoke to the driver of the vehicle, who exhibited signs of impairment and also located open alcohol within the vehicle.
The male was arrested at the scene.
Robin MAYORGA BELTETON, age 31 of Windsor was held for a bail hearing and charged with the following offences:
Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Exceed 80 Milligrams of Blood Alcohol Content
Fail to Comply with Condition of Undertaking
Drive While Under Suspension (Highway Traffic Act)
Driving Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Liquor (Liquor Licence Act)
He was released with a court appearance of January 16, 2014 in Leamington court.
