CREDIT CARD FRAUD CHARGES

(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ON)- The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has wrapped up a credit card fraud from October 23, 2013. On that date in October a credit card was left at a business on Young Street in the Town of New Tecumseth, that credit card was stolen and used in in a fraudulent manner. The investigation led Police to two males in the Town of New Tecumseth.

Charged is 26 year old Town of New Tecumseth resident Shane BRIENESSE, he is charged with Fraud Under $5000 and Possession of a Controlled Substance, under the Criminal Code of Canada.

The second male charged is 33 year old Michael RANSOM of the Town of New Tecumseth, he is charged with one count of Theft under $5000 and Fraud Under $5000 under the Criminal Code of Canada.

Both males charged in this incident will make their first appearance in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on March 20, 2014.
