(Casselman, ON) On January 1, 2014 OPP Constables were on patrol in Casselman in the early morning when they observed a vehicle parked in the church parking lot. When they approached the vehicle it started to move forward. They stopped the vehicle and spoke to driver. They noticed a strong smell of alcohol and also noticed other signs of impairment on the driver. The male was arrested and transported to the OPP office. At the office he supplied breath samples into the Intozilyzer. Both tests exceeded the legal limit.
Luc BINGRAS, 54 years old of Casselman will have to appear in L’Orignal court on January 22, 2014 to answer to the following charges:
CC 253(1)(a) Driving While Ability Impaired
CC 253(1)(b) Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood
