(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On June 9, 2018 at approximately 4:23 p.m., officers from the Quinte West Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an unwanted person hiding in a backyard on Kidd Ave in the City of Quinte West.
Officers located the male and a brief foot chase ensued before the male was taken into custody.
The investigation revealed that the male had unlawfully entered into several residences in the area.
Mr. Hubert POLLARD, a 38-year-old, from Quinte West has been arrested and charged with:
Two counts of Unlawfully in Dwelling House S. 349(1) CC and
Mischief Under $5000.00 S. 430(4) CC
The accused was held for a Bail Hearing and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on June 11, 2018 at in Belleville, Ontario.
