(ADELAIDE-METCALFE, ON)- On Tuesday January 7, 2014 at approximately 4:00 p.m. members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Middlesex Fire Department responded to a two vehicle collision located on Kerwood Road at Egremont Drive, involving a tractor trailer and a full size pickup truck.
As a result of the investigation police have closed a section of Kerwood Road between HWY 402 and Egremont Drive. Emergency crews are currently on scene and assisting with the investigation.
Police have confirmed that one occupant has been transported to a local area hospital with serious injuries.
The investigation is on-going.
