Barrie Police responded to a motor vehicle accident just after 3pm today right on Bayfield Street near Cundles Road. Barrie Police Traffic Unit is currently investigating the single motor vehicle accident. There could be an issue of driver action involved as the vehicle did come into contact with a snow bank and then rolled over. There were children inside of the vehicle with the female driver. It does not appear that any serious injuries occurred, however, the occupants were sent to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre as a precautionary measure to ensure that everyone is alright.
The road was shut down for a limited amount of time and has since been re-opened. Investigation is ongoing at present.
