(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Saturday January 11, 2014 just before 2:00am Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Huntsville Fire and Muskoka EMS were notified of a structure fire on Hoodstown Road in Huntsville.
Emergency services arrived to find that three people were inside a trailer that was parked in the driveway at the Hoodstown Rd residence when the fire started. One person managed to escape the other two were unable to get out. The male who suffered severe burns was transported to a local hospital then to a Toronto hospital by land ambulance.
The Ontario Fire Marshalls Office (OFM), along with Muskoka Crime Unit, and Central Region Forensic Identification Unit have been notified and are assisting in determining the cause of the fire.
Details of the victims are not being released until post mortem is complete.
