Car Fire

(Rockland, ON) On January 12, 2014 OPP Constables responded to a car fire in the parking lot of the Walmart in Rockland. At that location a witness noticed some smoke coming from the engine of a vehicle. Short time later flames quickly started spreading in the older model full size Dodge van. Police and Fire department attended the scene. The dogs that were in the vehicle were removed safely. There were no occupants in the vehicle and no one was injured. Another vehicle that was parked beside the burning vehicle was damaged by the fire. Police are not investigating this fire as no foul play is suspected.
