Frederick JOHNSON – Drive While Suspended

(BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On Saturday, January 11, 2014 at approximately 8:40 p.m., Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a driver of a motor vehicle for speeding on Scotch Settlement Road, Saugeen First Nation Territory.

Further investigation revealed that the driver was found to be operating the motor vehicle while being suspended from doing so. Also, he had not obtained a new permit for the motor vehicle when it was purchased and the plates used on the motor vehicle were not authorized.

Frederick JOHNSON, age 33, of Saugeen First Nation Territory, is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with 2 counts of Driving While Under Suspension, fail to apply for permit on becoming owner as well as use plates unauthorized. His vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

He is scheduled to appear in Walkerton court on Tuesday, February 18, 2014.
