(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On January 14, 2014, just before 9:30 a.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers, Chatham-Kent Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Dover Township Volunteer Fire Department and the United States Coast Guard responded to a collision involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) on the ice on Lake St. Clair, near St. Luke.
The collision occurred when the lone driver of the ATV, a 67 year old man from New Baltimore, MI, was thrown from the ATV while it was in motion. The driver was air-lifted from the scene and transported by EMS to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Charges are not anticipated.
