(Prescott, ON) – On January 16, 2014 members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) Project Paradigm, OPP Emergency Response Unit (ERT), OPP K-9 Unit and Prescott OPP Detachment executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) warrant at a residence on Wood St. West in the Town of Prescott.
Police seized a quantity marihuana and a substantial amount of cash as a result of the warrant.
Eric MERKLEY, 26 of Prescott has been charged with:
Possession of Cannabis Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, Brockville at a later date.
