(ORILLIA, ON) – On Wednesday, January 8, 2014, members on the Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment arrested a 17 year old male for spray painting several buildings in the north part of Orillia. On that date, police located five buildings that had been spray painted.
Police continued the investigation and as of January 16, 2014 another 10 locations were found where ‘tagging’ had occurred. Again the buildings were located in the north end of Orillia.
As a result the same Orillia youth has been charged with 10 further counts of Mischief Under $5,000 and will appear in Youth Court in March 2014.
