(PLYMPTON-WYOMING, ON) On January 16, 2014 at around 2:30 a.m., Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to complaints of an erratic driver on Highway 402 in Plympton-Wyoming. Officers located the GMC pickup truck on South Plympton Road in the area of London Line. While speaking with the driver it was determined that he had been consuming alcoholic beverages. Subsequent tests indicated that 20 year old Kyle SYMONS from Strathroy-Caradoc was over the legal limit. He will appear in a Sarnia court on February 3, 2014 to answer to the charges of impaired driving and being over the legal limit.
(LAMBTON SHORES, ON) On January 14, 2014 at around 2:30 p.m., the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to reports of an impaired driver on King Street. When police arrived, witnesses were preventing the female from leaving in her Toyota vehicle. The female was arrested and subsequent tests indicated that 63 year old Jacqualen McKEOWN from Plympton-Wyoming was over the legal limit. She will appear in a Sarnia court on February 17, 2014 to answer to the charges of impaired driving and having care and control while being over the limit.
OPP INVESTIGATE THEFT OF RIMS AND TIRES
(WARWICK TOWNSHIP, ON) Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a theft of tires and rims that occurred sometime between 5:30 p.m. on January 12, 2014 and 4:30 a.m. on January 13, 2014. The trailer had been parked in a lot on London Line in the area of Forest Road. Four white steel, five- hole semi- trailer rims and Goodyear tires valued at around $3000 total have been reported missing. The investigation is continuing.
