Barrie Police officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Essa Rd. The officers arrived on scene and observed that the apartment door was completely damaged. The victim who ran from the apartment after the door was kicked in stated that she thought her boyfriend may still be inside. She stated that the 37 year old Barrie male was also on probation to stay away from the victim. The officer entered the residence and located the male hidding in closet.
The male was placed under arrest for mischief and breach of probation. The male was transported ot the station and held for a bail hearing.
