(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a recent retail robbery.
On January 10, 2014, at approximately 4:55 pm, a lone male entered a pharmacy situated along the 700 block of Gladstone Avenue. The suspect entered and approached an employee at the checkout and made a verbal demand for cash. The suspect gestured that he was in possession of a firearm though none was seen. The employee handed over an undisclosed quantity of cash. The suspect was last seen running on foot northbound on Arthur Street. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, approximately 5’8(173 cm)
