(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On Thursday, January 23, 2014, at approximately 3:31 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a structure fire on Sideroad 6 in the Municipality of Meaford.
The Inter-Township Fire Department, Meaford Fire Department and the Chatsworth Fire Department responded to the scene. The structure, a two storey farm house, was completely destroyed.
It is undetermined if there are any victims at this time.
Police continue to investigation. The Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office will be attending to assist with the investigation.
Sideroad 6 is closed between the St. Vincent-Sydenham Townline and the 1st Concession for emergency responders until further notice.
