(MARMORA, ON) – On January 23, 2014 at 9pm Central Hastings O.P.P stopped a vehicle for speeding after it was observed travelling 105km per hour in a posted 50km zone on Matthew Street in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake. The 41 year old driver of Embrun, ON was charged with Drive Motor Vehicle-Perform Stunt-Speeding contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. His driver’s licence was seized and his vehicle was impounded both for a period of seven days. He will appear in Provincial Offences Court, Belleville in mid-February.
