Barrie Police were on routine patrol in the downtown core, when they observed a wanted party in the passenger seat of a passing car.
Police conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle; however the passenger decided to flee the car and run away through an alleyway.
The male is wanted for several charges including, theft, fail to attend Court, possession of stolen property and failing to comply with his recognizance.
Police anticipate an arrest shortly.
