POLICE RESPOND TO NUMEROUS COLLISION ON HWY AND COUNTY ROADS

(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON)- During the previous 24 hours members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have responded to numerous motor vehicle collisions and countless vehicles is the ditch on Middlesex County roadways and both HWY 401 and HWY 402. Police have confirmed that no serious injuries have been reported during this time but are still warning the public that they need to slow down and drive according to the ever changing road and weather conditions. Today it is cold and blowing so this means the roads are slippery and snow covered. That means slow down and arrive safely at your destination.

The Middlesex OPP would like to recognize the outstanding efforts and dedication to all of the road crews who have worked tirelessly to keep our roadways clear for our daily travels. But the crews can only do so much as Mother Nature can quickly change the plan with heavy snow, blowing winds and freezing rain. It is up to each driver to ensure that their vehicle is being operated in a safe manner.
