(Quinte West, ON) On January 28th, 2014, at approximately 2:00pm, police responded to a domestic assault at a Trenton address. An eleven year old child witness made the call to Police.
Police investigation revealed that a 33 year-old male assaulted his domestic partner. The female victim sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries to her face. The female was treated at hospital and released.
The accused male was arrested a short time later at a separate address in Trenton. He was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm and will appear in bail court on January 29th, 2014, in Belleville.
