MALE ROBBED IN MARKDALE

(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the assistance of the Grey County OPP Crime Unit, is investigating a robbery which occurred in the early hours of Saturday, February 1, 2014, in the village of Markdale, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

The victim was walking on Argyle Street in Markdale when he was physically assaulted by three males and robbed. The incident occurred between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on February 1st.

The 23 year old victim attended the Markdale Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released.

The investigation is ongoing. Further details to be released as accurate and confirmed information becomes available.
