The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman wanted on an outstanding warrant.
On October 23, 2013 the woman was released from custody with several conditions. One of the conditions stated that she was to obey a daily curfew of 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. On January 23, 2014 around 11:30 p.m. police attended a residence on Dufferin Avenue for an un-related matter and the woman was observed in the hallway. The woman left the area prior to police learning of her conditions. Attempts were made to locate the woman, however when unsuccessful, a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Yesterday morning, police located the woman in Chatham and she was arrested. The 25-year-old Wallaceburg woman was transported to court for a bail hearing pending the charge of failing to comply.
