(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On June 22, 2018 at approximately 7:00 p.m., officers from the Quinte West Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a possible impaired driver on Byron Street in the City of Quinte West.
The vehicle and driver were located and Mathieu LECLERC, 28-years of age of Quinte West was arrested and charged with:
Driving While Ability Impaired s. 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CC); and with
Driving with more than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood s. 253(1)(b) of the CC.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on July 5, 2018 in Belleville, Ontario.
