(KENORA, ON) Two Kenora men have been arrested and are facing charges in relation to break and enters reported February 11 and 12, 2014 in Kenora’s North End. Police received reports that unknown suspect(s) had forced entry into a number of residences and stolen various items from the homes including tools, cash and firearms.
Members of the Kenora Detachment Street Crime Unit, Organized Crime and Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) Kenora Drug Unit and the Provincial Operations Intelligence Bureau (POIB) commenced a joint investigation which resulted in the arrest of the two men at the scene of a break and enter on February 12, 2014. Police recovered a number of the stolen items.
As a result of this investigation, 22 year old Allan (AJ) PENCOFF and 32 year old Derek PENCOFF have been charged with Break Enter and Commit and Indictable Offence (3 counts each), Attempt Break and Enter With Intent to Commit and Indictable Offence, and Theft Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code. They have both been held in custody for bail hearings.
