(Rockland ON) On February 14, 2013 OPP Constables responded to a house fire on McTeer Rd in Rockland. The OPP along with several vehicles from the Clarence- Rockland and Ottawa Fire department were on scene. No one was injured. An investigation by the Ontario Fire Marshall and OPP was conducted. As a result a person will have to appear in court.
A 49 year old female was remanded into custody and will be appearing in L’Orignal court for bail hearing on February 20, 2014 to answer to the following charges:
CC 434.1 Arson – Damage to Own Property
CC 430(4) Mischief – Domestic
CC 433(a) Arson – Disregard for Human Life
