(PETROLIA, ON) On February 16, 2014, just before 3:00 a.m. Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the corner of Eureka Street and James Street to investigate a disturbance resulting from two males who were fighting.
During the arrest of one of the males, two OPP officers were assaulted which resulted in one Lambton OPP officer going to hospital where he was treated and released.
Austyn HUNTER, 19 years of age from Sarnia, ON, was held for a bail hearing in a Sarnia court in relation to five charges:
Breach of Probation
Obstruct Police
Assault with intent to resist arrest
Assault Police x2
The male has a Sarnia court date of March 17, 2014 to speak to the charges.
