(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Sunday, February 16, 2014, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a theft report which resulted in the arrest of a Georgian Bluffs woman.
Investigation revealed that between December 10, 2013 and February 15, 2014, the accused had stolen cheques from a relative. She had forged five cheques, totalling $1,400.
Alison BOOMER, 35, was arrested and charged with 5 counts each of theft under $5,000 and uttering a forged document. She was held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for Thursday, February 20, 2014.
