Barrie Police were called to a Bayfield St department store for a series of internal thefts.
Police were told by Security, a female had been observed on video completing exchanges with customers then pocketing some of the cash received.
Video revealed three separate incidents resulting in a loss of over $100.
As Police arrested the female she stated she had would return all cash to avoid criminal charges.
The 52 year old female was charged with three counts of theft and a count of Possession of stolen property.
She was released to a March court date and banned from returning to her former employer’s property.
