(South Stormont) – On February 15th, 2014 at 12:12pm SDG OPP officers had the occasion to intercept a vehicle travelling at an excessive rate of speed, 158km/h in a 100km/h zone, eastbound on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township.
Further investigation revealed that the 39 year old male driver (Terry MARQUIS of Kahnawake, Quebec) was prohibited from driving a motor vehicle. The vehicle was seized as per legislation.
The driver was arrested and charged with:
– Drive disqualified
– Race motor vehicle
The driver is scheduled to appear in Cornwall Court March 18th and 20th, 2014.
