(WELLINGTON COUNTY, ON) Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has had three reports of vehicles being damaged to gain entry during the day by criminals from February 18-19. The entries occurred at a business parking lot between Fergus and Elora, the side of road on the Eighth Line, Centre Wellington Township, and a rural school parking lot in Mapleton Township. The OPP want to remind motorists to leave valuables at home, place them in the trunk of their vehicles, or hide them so they are safely out of sight of would be criminals. Should any suspicious person(s) be observed please take note of any vehicle description with the licence plate.
