(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment has arrested and charged a 32 year old male after police were contacted by concerned homeowners at a Colborne Street South and Redbud Crescent, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario addresses.
On Thursday, February 20, 2014, at approximately 7:45 p.m., a homeowner arrived at their residence located on Colborne Street South and subsequently located a male hiding inside. The homeowner confronted the male who immediately left the residence in an unknown direction.
At approximately 9:35 p.m., police were contacted by an alert citizen after noticing an unknown male gain entry into a residence that was currently under construction at a Redbud Crescent address.
Police arrived on scene and through the course of investigation arrested a 32 year old male that was located inside the residence.
Charged with the following offences is 32 year old Philip Lawrence RHORA of Haldimand County, Ontario.
Break, Enter a place with intent to commit and indictable offence
Break, Enter a dwelling house – commit indictable offence
Fail to comply with Probation Order X2
Possession of Marihuana.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
