(SOUTHWEST OXFORD TOWNSHIP, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged the driver involved in the motor vehicle collision which had the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 between Putnam Road and Culloden Line shut down for several hours on February 24, 2014.
The collision which occurred shortly before 8:00 a.m., involved a jack knifed tractor trailer which stuck the center median sending debris into the westbound traffic lanes. Minor injuries reported. Traffic was diverted in the area for several hours to aid in the clean-up of a diesel fuel spill as well as repairing the center median.
Charged with Careless Driving is Amrinder Singh HAYER, 32 years of Brampton.
