(Bancroft, Ontario) – At approximately 4:06 p.m. on Saturday the 22nd of February 2014, an Officer from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Sherbourne Street North in the Town of Bancroft. As a result of the stop, 3 adult males were arrested and charged with several offences.
21 year old Ryan FOX of the Municipality of Highlands East, Ontario has been charged with:
Possession of a firearm or ammunition, contrary to a prohibition order (2 counts)
Possession of a schedule 1 substance
Mr. FOX was released from custody on a promise to appear with conditions and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft, Ontario on the 15th of April 2014.
33 year old Gregory GREEN of the Municipality of Hastings Highlands, Ontario has been charged with:
Possession of marihuana
Possession of a schedule 1 substance
Unauthorized possession of a weapon
Possession of property obtained by crime
