Huron OPP Respond To Numerous Collisions

(HURON COUNTY, ON) – Officers from the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment were very busy yesterday responding to numerous collisions throughout the county. Officers responded to a total of 17 collisions yesterday with the majority of them occurring place between 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m..

Only two of the involved occupants sustained injuries, in both cases they were minor.

Nearly a third of the collisions yesterday were rear end impacts, including a police cruiser that was rear ended on Grand Bend Line. The driver of a Chevrolet Equinox was travelling too fast for the weather and road conditions and collided with the police vehicle ahead.
