On March 1, 2014 at approximately 1:15 am the Chatham Kent Police attended on Grand River Line near Westgate Walk for a single vehicle collision. Upon arrival it was discovered that a 2008 Hyundai car had left the roadway causing it to roll and come to rest in a field. The collision caused significant damage to the vehicle, estimated at $10,000. The involved driver was out of the vehicle upon police arrival and did not sustain any injuries as a result of the accident. As a result of the police investigation a 20 year old Chatham male was charged with Careless Driving.
