(PARRY SOUND, ON) – On June 28, 2018 at shortly after 7 p.m., members of the West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a sexual assault incident on Bowes Street in Parry Sound.
As a result of the investigation, Gerald BEAUPARLANT, a 43 year old male from Mississauga, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age, contrary to section 271 of the Criminal Code (CC),
Sexual interference, contrary to section 251 of the CC, and
Possession of a schedule II substance – Marihuana – under 30 grams, contrary to the CC.
He was held for bail and will the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound, Ontario.
