(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) -On March 6, 2014 at approximately 8:28 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a collision involving two motor vehicles on Wellington Road 32 between Concession 4 and Forestell Road, Puslinch Township.
Puslinch Fire and Rescue, Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Ornge Air Ambulance Services were also in attendance.
The investigation has revealed that a south bound motor vehicle collided with a northbound commercial motor vehicle. The driver of the southbound vehicle succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other driver was transported by Air Ambulance to a Hamilton Hospital with serious injuries. The names of the drivers will not be released until the next of kin has been notified
Wellington County OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) assisted by West Region Reconstructionists are continuing with the investigation.
The road will be closed for further investigation.
