(Oro-Medonte, ON) – Barrie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating several thefts from motor vehicles that occurred at Hardwood Ski and Bike on Old Barrie Rd in Oro-Medonte Twp. On Thursday March 6th, 2014 thieves smashed the windows of several vehicles parked at Hardwood Ski and Bike. Thieves stole purses and wallets containing cash and the owner’s personal identification which all appeared to be in plain view.
This is a good reminder for motorists to take their personal property out of vehicles and lock them, even when they are parked in their own driveways.
