(BRUCE TWP, ON) – On March 20th, 2011 at 9:15 pm, the South Bruce OPP responded to a vehicle in the ditch along County Road 33, south of the Bruce Saugeen line, in Bruce Township. Officers arrived, located a Ford van in the ditch and discovered that the driver had been drinking alcohol. 65 year old Robert McKAIN of Port Elgin has been charged with Impaired driving, Operate over 80 milligrams and Drive motor vehicle with open liquor. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on May 2nd, 2011 to answer to the charges.
