Douglas Williams – Drunk Driving

(HASTINGS, ON) – On Thursday March 6, 2014 at approximately 9:00pm, Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Clyde St. Hastings for improper lighting. The driver displayed signs of impairment by alcohol and provided a roadside sample which resulted in a ‘fail’. The male was transported to the Campbellford OPP detachment where he provided further samples of his breath. As a result of these tests, Douglas Williams, 54 years old, of Hastings was charged with operating a motor vehicle with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood. He was released with a court date of March 26, 2014 at the Ontario Court of Justice, Cobourg.
