(NAPANEE, ON) – On Saturday, March 8, 2014, at approximately 10:15am, protesters occupied the CN Rail tracks that cross Wyman Road, just south of Old Hwy 2. A stop train order was put in place by CN.
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police and CN Police responded to the scene. During the investigation, an adult male struck a window of an unmarked police vehicle, breaking the glass.
At approximately 11:15am, officers approached the rail line which resulted in the arrest of 4 people. One (1) person has been released unconditionally. Charges are pending.
At 1:00pm the stop train order was lifted and the first train passed at approximately 1:30pm.The OPP and CN Police are continuing the investigation.
