On March 7, 2014 at 8:06 a.m., the Guelph Police went to the Victoria Road Recreation Centre to investigate a break and enter. It is alleged that on March 6, 2014 at 10:30 p.m., a male gained entry into an office at the Victor Davis Recreation Center by prying the door open. While inside, the male took a quantity of cell phones and other items. Guelph Police investigation led to the arrest of the male on March 7, 2014. Subsequent to the arrest a search warrant was executed on his residence. Police were unable to locate any items taken during the break and enter into the Recreation Center, but did find a small quantity of narcotics and other stolen property.
Brandon GRENIER, 24 years of Guelph has been charged with break and enter and commit, mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000, four counts of possession of property obtained by crime and two counts of possession of a controlled substance (CDSA). He will appear in court on March 10, 2014.
