(DRYDEN, ON.) -On March 8, 2014 at approximately 2pm, The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Dryden detachment were conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 17 in Melgund Township. The officers observed a motor vehicle at a high rate of speed and conducted a traffic stop. As a result, Erik ATKINSON (20yrs old) of Red Lake, Mackenzie HANEY (19yrs old) of Red Lake and Tanner MILLS (19yrs old) of Ear Falls have all been charged with possession of a controlled substance over 30 grams contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act. They have been released from custody and are scheduled to return on April 28, 2014 in Dryden to answer to the charge.
