(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Friday March 7, 2014 at around 5:30pm Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Muskoka EMS attended a motor vehicle rollover on Meadow Park Dr. in the town of Huntsville.
A maroon and black coloured F150 was traveling down Meadow Park Dr. lost control on the road, struck a snowbank and rolled onto its side. The driver Ryan WEST (26yrs) of Huntsville suffered only minor injuries as a result of the crash. During the investigation it was found that the driver had been drinking. As a result the accused was arrested and eventually charged with having more than 80mgs of alcohol per 100mltrs of Blood under the Criminal Code of Canada. He was also issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension and had his vehicle impounded for 7 days.
The accused will appear on March 19th, 2014 in the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville to answer to his charges.
